Mid-Level/Senior Associate: Commercial & Regulatory/ M&A ( 10 July 2026 )

Responsibility:

  • Advise clients across a broad range of industries on regulatory and compliance matters, foreign direct investment, commercial contracts and M&A. 
  • Prepare, supervise and coordinate on applications and documentation for licenses, permits, filings, notifications and registrations with relevant authorities.  
  • Structure and execute strategic transactions and manage end-to-end transactional workstreams.
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and all related transactions and ancillary documents.
  • Prepare legal advice and legal opinions on complex legal and regulatory matters.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and prepare comprehensive due diligence reports.

Qualifications we are looking for:

 

  • LL.B. or LLM. with excellent academic credentials
  • Minimum 5 years of substantial experience in transactional, advisory and regulatory matters at a reputable law firm. 
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of Thai laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong work ethics and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage complex transactions, and lead and supervise team members.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, service-minded, pragmatic, proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Experience working closely with regulatory and specialist teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a clear, confident, and professional communication style.
  • Creative and solution-oriented approach to legal issues.
  • Experience in domestic and cross-border transactions is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills, ability to work under high-pressure and meet tight deadlines.
