Junior-Level / Mid-Level Associate: Insurance (including Medical Malpractice) ( 11 April 2024 )

Responsibility:

• Advising clients on regulatory, compliance and other matters including policy coverages and interpretations.
• Advising clients on pre-litigation stages.
• Conducting researches on relevant laws and regulations including but not limited to guidelines on related-insurance matters.
• Preparing all necessary legal documents for policyholders and cases including release and discharge of liabilities or settlement agreements.
• Advising policyholders and clients in claim-handling, estimating loss reserves and negotiating with counter parties.
• Providing recommendations on defending strategies or negotiation strategies to the policyholders
• Drafting and providing legal advice to clients or stakeholders.
• Being able to communicate to clients, policyholders and/or other stakeholders and maintaining good relationship with them.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• LL.B. degree or higher with outstanding academic credentials.
• Must have strong legal knowledge and litigation procedures.
• Experienced in arbitration and international arbitration is a plus.
• Proven technical and practical knowledge of civil and criminal procedural laws.
• Excellent in Thai and English communication.
• Strong work ethics and can-do attitude.
• Ability to complete the assigned tasks individually within a tight timeline and work well in team.
• Highly organized and well-planned, service-minded, problem-solving, and attention-to-details, proactive and enthusiastic.
• Having experience in medical malpractice claims or working experience with hospitals and/or medical practitioners would be advantages.
