Siam Premier’s Employment and Labour practice group provides comprehensive, strategic advice and representation to Thai domestic and foreign corporations on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment and labour related issues and matters arising out of their operations in Thailand. 

We assist foreign corporates in navigating the heavily regulated national employment and labour laws and with understanding the cultural nuances of operating in Thailand. We are known for being proactive and responding quickly to our clients with strategic advice that assists them mitigate and manage risks, which seeks to avoid the escalation of disputes where possible. However, where litigation or other formal dispute resolution procedures are necessary, we also have an excellent track record of assisting corporations achieve negotiated or litigated outcomes in contentious matters in the Labour Court, domestic and international arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums.

We are regularly involved in the employment and labour-related aspects of domestic and cross-border commercial transactions, including those arising from M&A deals, insolvency and receivership matters, and in strategic employment and human resource (HR) planning. Our advice includes negotiating the HR aspects of corporate transactions and drafting various related agreements including transition services agreements, employment agreements and restrictive covenant agreements.
