Introduction

Each year, the Ministry of Interior sets a quota for permanent residency applications in the Kingdom of Thailand. On 18 September 2018, the Immigration Bureau announced the “Notification of Immigration Bureau regarding Permanent Residency Application Window for 2018” (Notification). The Notification specifies that 2018 Thai permanent residence applications are limited to 100 persons per nationality.
