Introduction

The short-term rental services, especially in the form of a lease of condominium units, have been popular in both Bangkok and other main tourist destinations in Thailand for a long period of time. Nowadays, the rental services are also available through online services such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Hotel.com and Couchsurfing allowing the owners to directly lease their properties and search for tenants.
